My thought if I would be famous

If I would ever be given a chance to famous, then my mindset is I will refuse to be famous. Why o why?
Actually, I wanted to be popular, but then I would like to have underground success instead of mainstream success. It is all because I want to avoid the cruelty of the fans if I will be famous. Unlike having secret success, I will be able to have a peaceful and quiet life. And that's all I want to have in my life..
